Gorgonzola Hash Browns

Ingredients

    Vegetable oil

    Shredded hash browns

    Gorgonzola cheese crumbles

Steps

  1. Pour 1 cup oil onto a preheated 450°F griddle. Spread hash brown on griddle in an even layer; pressing down lightly with spatula. Season with salt and pepper and cook until golden brown on the bottom. 
  2. Drizzle with an additional 1/2 cup oil, if needed, and turn potatoes over with spatula. Sprinkle cheese on top and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Divide hash browns into 8 equal portions and serve.
